About Lesley

Lesley Slattery is an experienced speech pathologist who specialises in feeding, speech, literacy, and language difficulties. Lesley has a passion for supporting individuals through a neurodiversity affirming approach.
As a mother of three, she understands firsthand the importance of celebrating and meeting each person's unique strengths and challenges. Lesley's goal at Sydney Speech and Munchies is to create a safe, inclusive space for everyone she works with, recognising that speech, language, literacy and feeding are deeply personal and varied experiences. With years of training and hands-on experience, she is dedicated to empowering clients of pre-primary and primary school ages to express themselves and thrive in a way that feels authentic to them. Lesley truly believes in meeting each individual where they are, embracing neurodiversity, and fostering growth in a way that is both supportive and affirming.
